Ashern, The Pas and Flin Flon Visits
Planned by Lieutenant Governor
Lieutenant Governor John Harvard and Her Honour Lenore Berscheid will spend three days traveling by car later this week visiting several Interlake and Northern Communities. They will make stops in Ashern, The Pas and Flin Flon.
On Friday, November 5, Their Honours travel to Ashern where the Lieutenant Governor will address students and staff at the Ashern Central School. In the evening, he will host a reception with community and aboriginal leaders at the Kikiwak Inn in The Pas.
On Saturday, November 6, Their Honours will attend meetings that will focus on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder at The Pas Family Resource Centre and the Community Nurse Resources Centre. That will be followed by a luncheon meeting at the Kikiwak Inn. Their Honours will then travel to Flin Flon where the Lieutenant Governor will address the annual Remembrance Banquet at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #73. Their Honours will return to Winnipeg on Sunday, November 7. |
